Barber Colman
Howard Colman established Barber Colman in 1894 as a manufacturer in the textile and milling industry. Colman’s company achieved success in this industry, becoming a big name in manufacturing. Barber Colman consisted of warehouses that spanned two city blocks - the largest production company of its time. Colman ultimately expanded his company into several divisions by providing machinery services, manufacturing process controls, and manufacturing cutting tools. Barber Colman faced debt some years after its initial success and was divested in 1984 to several different companies. However, the original Barber Colman name remains under the Eurotherm International brand – one of the companies that the original Barber Colman was divested to. Under Eurotherm, several Barber Colman products remain on the market today.
Barber Colman possesses many legacy chart recorders:
- Circular chart recorders: KR recorder series
