If I could give 10 stars I would. I needed an ultrasonic welder for a product that I created and was working with another dealer who was telling me that I needed the newest product on the market for my application which was more than I could afford. I found Rochester Industrial on Google just by searching Used Branson Ultrasonic Welders, they are the second tab from the top, as I wanted to get some additional information as I didn't know that much outside of what I was being told so I called and had the pleasure to speak with Joe. I sent him all the information he requested regarding my application and he got back to me with pictures and a description of a machine that could do the job for about half of what the other guy wanted to charge. Normally I call a few places but after I spoke with Joe, I was sold!!! First, he took the time to understand what I was doing and second, the way he told me he would take honest care of me and make sure that the machine would work for my application before trying to sell me was something that doesn't happen very often in today's world. After a month or so of sending my parts to him, he called and told me that he had another option, as he was struggling getting a turntable to work correctly on the machine which was simply a bonus for me, so no big deal from my end. Normally when you hear bad news, the person giving it reflects it in their tone but that wasn't the case here. Joe said in an upbeat way, "Great news Nate, I got a machine that will work better, you can do more of your product faster and it's cheaper". I didn't have to think twice on that one, let's get it going. Another month down the road, after Jack and Doug had helped me with quite a bit of testing to make sure that everything was working well, I went to see them and make the purchase. When I got there, I was introduced to everyone and Doug gave me a quick tutorial of the machine and then we went to work setting the correct parameters for my application. We didn't have it completely dialed in when I left but we were very close, note that the parts I am working with are very small, two small pods of 8mm x 5mm, so there was a fine bit of tuning. I paid them as I knew it would work and they kept the machine to continue working on getting it right before they shipped it. When I got it, I set it up, called Doug, spoke with him for 5 minutes and started working with no issues at all. They had fine tuned this machine so that all I had to do was set it up, plug it in and start working. No one can ask for or get better service from anyone for anything in this world, I'm confident in writing that. From someone, me, who didn't even know this machine existed to now owning one and operating it as if I've had one for years over 3 month period of time is incredible. I am confident that my product would not be where it is today without Rochester Industrial and the efforts of each employee there. I am and will be forever grateful to Joe, Jack, Doug and the rest of their staff and look forward to working with them in the future if the opportunity presents itself. Great Company made up of compassionate people who care about what they do but more than that, care about the clients they work with to a degree that again, is lost in today's world with other businesses. If anything tells you how a person is, this will. As I was getting ready to leave Buffalo, it was near blizzard conditions and no cabs or ubers were running so Joe packed me up and brought me to the airport himself so that I could catch my flight. I would like to thank you for your assistance on June 28th, 2018, testing ultrasonic welding on our specific application. We appreciate the guidance you supplied, based on your knowledge of ultrasonic welding, and your willingness to test our samples on your ultrasonic welder. Your assistance provided us with a better understanding of the field of ultrasonic welding and in what applications it is applied with excellent results. While we were reluctant to learn that it was not the right fit for our application, you helped us to understand why it was not the right fit so that we could explore other welding methods.
